Our creative juices were flowing today as we explored combining Art with Math and Science. We colored cubes and sticks for later use in our math center and explored painting with magnets!
What happens when you put watercolor paints on wooden cubes and popsicle sticks? How about first adding numbers, letters or designs with white crayons?
Today we enjoyed a performance by
One World Taiko, a professional Japanese drum ensemble.
Today we turned another liquid mixture into a solid. Check out the recipe to make your own bouncy ball!
Megan and I are excited to learn about and teach our students how to use a new collaborative, interactive app! This morning we spent time searching through a website called “TinyTap.” Here, we played some educational games that were created by other students (including preschool!) and teachers. We also began exploring the app on our ipad minis where you can make your own puzzles, books, games and more! Please click on the link below and see what has us so eager to integrate the T from STEAM into Fridays as well as our M-Th program!
